About Me

As far back as I can remember, I've always had a passion for being scared out of my wits by way of a horror film or series. Whether it was Doctor Who battling the Daleks or the Cybermen, or a sneakily viewed Hammer Horror featuring the legendary Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing, I was completely hooked. God only knows why I subjected myself to such terror - it only ever ended with me hiding under the covers, too frightened to sleep.

But fear has a funny way of becoming an addiction. As I grew older, my taste in horror evolved, and my childhood nightmares gave way to the adrenaline rush of teen slasher flicks. Halloween, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th - these films weren’t just movies; they were a rite of passage. There was something thrilling about the tension, the jump scares, and the creeping sense of dread that kept me coming back for more.

Now, my love for horror has expanded into every dark corner of the genre. Whether it’s psychological horror that lingers, found-footage nightmares, or cult classics I just love to dissect what makes horror tick. And that’s exactly why I created this blog. Expect passionate analysis, the occasional rant, and plenty of recommendations for those who, like me, just can’t get enough of the macabre.

So, whether you're a seasoned horror afficionado or just dipping your toes into the darkness, welcome. Let’s explore the terrifying, the twisted, and the truly unforgettable together. After all, there’s nothing quite like a good scare.
